I don't have a favorite, and I understand your point about Newt not being faithful...in more ways than one, actually. :) The thing I always keep in mind is that if a candidate believes in my ideas, it's only one factor of several. His or her ability to deliver is another.
As an example, suppose there are two candidates. Candidate A supports banning all abortions, period. Candidate B opposes abortion, but has a variety of exceptions such as the morning after pill, rape, and incest. Both A and B were in office before, but A accomplished nothing while B managed to get legislation in place for mandatory ultrasounds and parental notification. Some people would pick A and demonize B for not being pure.
I'm not saying any candidate is a pure conservative, but I give some weight to Gingrich because he has shown an ability to get good legislation through. But since my state's primary comes very late, the decision will be made before I can vote, so I will continue supporting no one until all of you pick the winner. :)
