I don’t like Newt’s training idea either.
It seems like slavery. What about an option? Some people want to
continue doing what they are doing, not do training for training sake.
Then all the trainers, because of the demand from govt. are going to
do sham training, like Georgia or green jobs training.
I thought this was the most substantive “debate” of all to date.
While Newt did very well, and is obviously smart and knowledgeable, I was a bit concerned by his frequent references to “the government giving people more choices”. He’s got a fundamental understanding wrong, and that tells me that he is still a “statist” as Mark Levin puts it, albeit one who is more conservative than many others.
re: Newt’s unempl training idea....when the Government decides WHAT training is needed....it is a problem...if the gov’t would get out of the way we wouldn’t have the problems we have now....but, you know that!
