Quote of the night so far: “You go first Newt.” Cain apparantly didn’t understand what he was being asked.

I was a little puzzled by that too. However, I give both of these candidates one million percent credit and approval for doing this at all. I find them both Presidential quite frankly. I would love a Cain/Gingrich ticket. I don’t want Newt at the top....can’t get over the three marriages (mainly because how they ended).

To me it looks like he is deferring, because when he goes on to give his opinion on it which does not necessarily match Newt’s, so it is clear he knows what he is talking about.

Newt was told he would be going first during this portion. The questioner then asked a question which Cain started answering then stoppedvand said you answer. Newt then said that is fair. Imo it wasn’t Cain stumbling so much as remembering who was supposed to be up first. And if it was a stumble they are both passing to the one with experience in each question. :)
