I don’t see the point of Romney and Perry doing their own debate, especially when it isn’t really a debate.

Fortunately, many of us - including you - are interested in watching Cain/Gingrich debate. I see your point about Romeny/Perry, though.

Starting to look like the perry people are interjecting Perry indirectly and otherwise here...rude to say the least....discouraging as well as Freepers should do better than that...but alas we do have all kinds here...and they are ours

That’s certainly true. I doubt too many people here would want to watch Romney debate anybody, much less Perry.

I very much enjoy watching Perry do question/answer interviews. Frankly, I think he’d be fine in this type of forum (which isn’t a debate), with either of these two men, assuming everybody could stay as civil as these two are being to each other.

But frankly, I’d love to see Gingrich go one on one with EACH of the other candidates. He makes everybody else smarter just by standing with him.
