Heads up all ye who want change from another Obama term in 2012. Theres only one man for that job: Rick Perry. Voters said so in Wisconsin.
Perry topped Obama 46% to 42% in a Rasmussen poll. Should Obama run against Mitt Romney, Obama would win 45% to 41%. Should Obama run against Herman Cain, Obama would win 47% to 41%. The poll makes a case for Perry if Americans really want to see Obama out.
The Rasmussen poll surveyed 500 Wisconsin voters by phone, not a sampling of voters nationwide. But the trendline is up for Perry and a bellwether as the GOP candidate who can take it away next November.
The rest of the GOP field is losing its glitter. Meanwhile, Perry continues his ascent toward the top; this, amid purported poor performances at debate. Whats going on with that?

I am not that familiar with the senate.
My Dr is one.
I really like Louie Gohmert in the congress
Maybe you like a wife like Obamas?
Not really, I have a husband like mine. Moochelle is a little large and too mean for me.
She is the original Beeotch.
I have traditionally backed the wrong candidate here.
Maybe I am stupid. I want a candidate that isn’t about being flamboyant.
I don’t care about them being a speaker that gives a barn burner speech.
I want a man of reason. I dont want some jazzhole with his finger on the button.
I backed Fred Thompson last go around and I wish to GOD That people would have listened.
Hate to break it to you.. but Perry is going to be ruthless with zero as well. Be prepared. You’ll probably be offended by his attacks on him.
Rick Perry paid close to a half-million dollars in 2010 to settle a lawsuit against him. He was charged with laundering a $1 Million campaign contribution through the Republican Governor’s Association, using Mitt Romney as the conduit. Perry and the plaintiff signed a confidentiality agreement in exchange for Perry paying the money.
Maybe Perry doesn’t remember it, since it was so long ago. Maybe he can’t talk about it because of the non-disclosure agreement. Even though he said he didn’t do it, he paid out $427,000 to the plaintiff to settle it. Gee, that’s an awfully lot of money...he must have done something. < /sarc>
It looks like some people don’t like your source. Here’s another link with about 1,500 different sources to the story. Maybe there’s a source there that would be more acceptable.
so you're calling the over 80% of Americans who oppose amnesty stupid? Not surprised.
We oppose amnesty as well.
Too bad his supporters have not. Perry’s campaign and supporters are a mirror of Romney’s. Oh they talk all nicey nice but behind the scenes, they tell their staff and minions to get as dirty as possible.

Honey, I don’t know what to say other than we ARE following politics for POTUS, and the long knives are going to come out for Perry, too.
Hey Liz, you're the queen of all Perry suckage. Can you help school mylife on Perry's cronyism?
And BTW, playing dirty has really helped your guy, hasn't it? Wonder what Perrymoron will say to sink below Huntsman?
It wasn’t a fine. It was a legal settlement agreement with the complainant. The Perry campaign paid $427,000 to the plaintiff to persuade him to drop the lawsuit against Perry. Perry was one of the signers on the non-disclosure agreement.
I just read another thread with a Wall Street Journal article about how Perry now owes $230,000 for violating Federal Campaign Finance law involving chartering jets. But, I guess it’s okay because he didn’t know it was illegal. Man, this guy’s expensive.

I’m just saying playing patty-cake is not going to bring down zero. That’s my goal. Whoever can do it, do it! I just happen to be of the opinion that Perry has a better chance.
And what are you worried about, anyway, Perry has an even smaller chance than Paul. Cain supporters should be out on the deck in lounge chairs sipping champagne at Cain’s inevitability. Why waste your time with we ‘perrywinkles’?
I tend to swat gnats when they're flying around.
This is Free Republic. Not CBS news. The Perry camp shifted blame to Romney and Freepers here are more than encouraged to look that up. After some thought, you ask yourself, why in the world would they do that?
The backfire on Perry is on.
