Heads up all ye who want change from another Obama term in 2012. There’s only one man for that job: Rick Perry. Voters said so in Wisconsin.
Perry topped Obama 46% to 42% in a Rasmussen poll. Should Obama run against Mitt Romney, Obama would win 45% to 41%. Should Obama run against Herman Cain, Obama would win 47% to 41%. The poll makes a case for Perry if Americans really want to see Obama out.
The Rasmussen poll surveyed 500 Wisconsin voters by phone, not a sampling of voters nationwide. But the trendline is up for Perry and a bellwether as the GOP candidate who can ‘take it away’ next November.
The rest of the GOP field is losing its glitter. Meanwhile, Perry continues his ascent toward the top; this, amid purported poor performances at debate. What’s going on with that?

It’s amazing. Some day I’m gonna copy all their posts and paste them on Free Republic.

I am not passing laws that penalize Americans for the actions of illegal aliens.

By the way, Perry was exceedingly gracious about Cain and always has been.
Not even the most ardent Cain supporter can say that Cain has been gracious and fair to Perry.

FreeRepublic is going to crash next week when a poll comes out with Perry > 10% and climbing.
Most of these posters here aren’t real conservatives. I haven’t figured out if they are just plain dumb, paid, or from Occupy Wall Street. My radar is up though (-;
Our problem on the Mexican border is complex.
Our federal laws wont let us come down on some guy trying to make a living with an Iron fist.
We here in Texas would not do that either.
Our problem is that the feds make it difficult to take an iron fist to the bad guys.
THAT’s why Perry has laid out the red carpet?
Perry is on his ‘A” game. It’s just a matter of time, and having the polls catch up with him. He’ll be > 10% nationally next week.
Stop telling lies, it is not against federal law to fine the employers and sanction them, such as removing their business licenses.
People that don’t live on the border don’t understand the border.
I have patrolled it many times, mostly in Az.
I find some guys trying to get to a furniture factory in Phoenix and I CALL The BP.

I said that I am not for passing laws that punish American business men should they be caught employing an illegal.
Lot’s of people get fake documentation.
Why in the fudge should private American businessmen have to discharge the duty of the Gov under penalty of fine?
