He didn't freak out over the rock. The concern he expressed was for "the N-word".

I've explained this to you several times earlier but you want to believe something else. I suppose you can but it demonstrates you have no understanding of what goes on in "black America" including the way certain parties test every black man for whether or not he's an "Uncle Tom".

No doubt that you want to think Cain came up with the Rock ~ but he didn't. It's more likely the staffer for a black Congressman who engineered the Black Caucus Parade and the "spitting stories" ~ and you remember that, right? He put out the news stories to his buddy bloggers about half an hour before the event started ~

” He didn’t freak out over the rock. The concern he expressed was for “the N-word”. “ <<<<<

Is that right? Well, who would have thunk it? That’s what it was about? /s

We all know who came up with the rock. Obama had dog whistled Texas democrats exactly one week prior to let fly with the Texas opposition research results. This is the best they had because it is ALL they had. Perry didn’t own the rock, or the land, didn’t write on the rock, opposed the signage on the rock, painted the rock, had to turn the rock over, entirely, when the paint faded. Cain went off like a gun shot to the talk shows bemoaning Perry insensitivity. The story was a bust, Cain’s reaction to the story was a bust, but Herb still can’t seem to let go of Rick Perry can he. Neither can you.
