To: true believer forever

“Doctoring” isn’t a Southern black term. I’m about as white as you can get, and that term has been a part of my Texas heritage all my long life.

Kinda like “fixin.”

I’m thinking these accusations and discomfort are largely a result of a strong black man speaking to white women.

uh, that doesn’t mean blacks in the southern states didn’t and don’t use it - almost to the exclusion of all other ethnic groups in the south. I didn’t mean to leave out texas... people sure get testy quick around here.
