Mark Block just appeared on Fox, accepted Mr. Anderson’s (from the Perry Camp) comments made earlier on Fox, and said that the campaign was moving on.

Block is a loose cannon, he doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut or his vices to himself. Cain is going to have to better, at least as far as someone who can speak publicly about the campaign.

Sounds familiar and about the right time frame too.

10/02/11""My reaction is, that's just very insensitive," Cain told Fox. "[There] isn't a more vile, negative word than the N-word, and for him to leave it there as long as he did, before I hear that they finally painted over it, is just plain insensitive to a lot of black people in this country."

10/03/11: “All I said was the mere fact that that word was there was ‘insensitive,’ ” Cain said outside Trump Tower in Manhattan, N.Y., according to the National Review. “That’s not playing the race card. I am not attacking Gov. Perry. Some people in the media want to attack him. I’m done with that issue!”

So now after making these accusations Block says they are moving on? The Cain campaign seems to love to throw accusations around and then claim they really didn’t mean it and move on.

There is no way on earth this campaign is going to survive. Childish.

I saw that. He said he accepts that he wasn't the source, then seconds later said they were standing behind what Cain said yesterday. Megan Kelly said, but you said Anderson was beind it yesterday, so which is it. His answer was "were moving on". That seems to be the standard Cain answer when caught talking BS.

And of course for the Cain followers that's ok. So Cain is can come out and falsely accuse the Perry camp and then just..move on?

If this doesn't show you the character of Cain and his people I don't know what will.

Cain had no problem trying to destroy Perry's candidacy yet was oddly silent on the possibility of Romney being the culprit.

Wow. Yesterday he specifically charged Anderson and called the Perry campaign “dispicable”. Now he is retracting his charges and says they are “moving on”?

OK, I shouldn’t be surprised. And I shouldn’t give them too much grief, at least they aren’t tripling down after doubling down with a PRESS RELEASE.

I’m expecting the Cain folks will now blast everybody for not ‘dropping it’.

How noble of them! Issue a false accusation, in which they had nary a scintilla of evidence, and then just 'move on'. No apology, no mea culpa, nothing.

Add uncouth & unsavory to list of descriptives for Team Cain.

When the story of the harassment first broke, I believed it was pure crap

I now believe it happened. When your whole candidacy is based on your supposed character you better have some.
