Wow... What a coincidence. Just two weeks later, this same gal got drunk at a party I was at. She asked to stay over at my place. While I was getting some extra bedding to make up the couch for her, she passed out in my bed.

I took the couch.

Damn... I guess this means I can never run of office. (/blatantly made up story)

And here I thought our justice system was based on a person having the right to confront his/her accuser?

Silly me - when I was on our local school board - some nutty teacher wanted us to believe that our school superintendent “acted inappropriately” toward another unnamed teacher, but wanted to keep her identity a secret from him.

We said that if this unidentified person was unwilling to come forward in executive session and discuss this with us and the superintendent, she wasn’t going to be taken seriously.

She dropped the matter instantly. Can you imagine the lawsuit we would have endured if we fired the superintendent on such hearsay?
