Indeed beandog DID tell me I was raising my daughter to be a wimp. And I am outraged by his comment and his treatment of any individual who has gone through a sexual ordeal. Whether we have assault and rape or just improper advances in the work place is beyond our complete knowledge right now, but I am offended and ANGRY with the disgraceful treatment you people are showing to those... Stuff it, I have much sympathy for any girl or woman who is truly a victim. The problem is there are too many false accusations out there for me to automatically accept the word of an anonymous source who makes these claims. Especially when they have the political implications these charges carry.

The thing that bothers me is the comment on the article about the parents filing suit on her behalf. That means that she must have been very young. At that point, whether it was consentual or not it was disgusting. He was a married man, her boss and he had not business taking her to his apartment.
