A spokesman for Texas Gov. Rick Perrys campaign is adamantly denying that members of the GOP presidential candidate's staff leaked a story has swamped Herman Cain's campaign this week. Instead, the Perry camp is pointing a finger at the campaign of another rival Republican, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, as a possible source of the report about the sexual-harassment charges levelled a decade ago against Cain by female subordinates at the National Restaurant Association.

Well, is there any evidence Perry had anything to do with it? If so, where?
What if Cain is wrong about Perry?
Gingrich has steered clear of this mess as well. And he's been rising steadily in the polls with every debate performance.
If Cain loses support, most of it will shift to Newt, not Mittens.
I beg to differ. Cain changed his story again today and claimed there was only ONE harassment case.
He had previously acknowledged TWO and today we have a Third party as well as a witness.
So then Cain gets slimey and accuses Perry.
I am disappointed that Perry’s spokesman even suggested Romney could be responsible, but at least they only “suggested” it.
Here is what it is. The establishment simply need to crap all over the uppity outsider that is Herman Cain.
So they release this BS.
If I were Cain, I would let it out that he would consider running as a “I” if this continues.
Let the whole dam thing come crashing down. He’d take just enough votes for another Obama term. You can bet that the establishment wouldnt give a rats ass about that. All they care is that socialists stay in the White House.
I still support Cain. These hypocritical political attacks on him only made me more eager to donate money to him. There is a war going on in America between the Obamanation/RINOS and the Tea Party. And I aim on defending the Tea Party with every vote left in my body.
If you weren't so busy being Internet tough guy, you might have actually read what I wrote. But obviously you're incapable of that--what did I "buy" exactly? I merely observed the response.
In simple words you might be able to grasp: Stop posting when you don't know what you're talking about.
So Newt was behind the leak? ;)
I would vote for Huntsman just because of his daughters.
:)
Huh? Could you repeat that, one more time, real slow? :)
Oh brother...here we go again. Everything is speculation..lets get NAMES, sources and more out there...it would be a big hoax if the democrats were behind this as republicans devour their own.
And what if Perry is wrong about Romney?
I have asked that and all of the perryhaters just deflect.
No, but wouldn't it have been brilliant if Bloch released it himself to Politico?! Get it out now and get it over with. Then, hey, let's drag Perry into it.
I’m afraid you’re right.
Using your logic, our guys shouldn’t even run against Obama. I mean after-all, the Democrats or media may level a charge against one of the GOP candidates, and this could cause a “bloodbath.”
My guess is, you’d have the same reaction no matter what charge was leveled against one of our guys. It doesn’t matter what the facts are in your world, it’s the “seriousness of the charge.”
Would like to know who the woman is that made the accusation, why she was given a severence pay...who the other women are and why they are not waiving the confidentiality law to get the facts in front of the American voter. NOW!!!!!!!!!!!! what IF it is a democrat behind the leak? that would be the biggest joke on the republican party ever...I don’t rule it out.
Perry has a solid conservative record.
Mitt does not.
If I heard right, Cain now claims he briefed one of the Perry aids about the harrassment accusations when the guy worked for Cain's senate run in 2003. The aid said that Cain hadn't told him anything and he knew nothing until he read it on Politico. BUT...
Yesterday Cain in a TV interview said that he didn't know the details that he is now claiming he told this Perry aid in 2003.
Either he knew it or didn't but wants it both ways!~
