Cain has a settlement on harassment on record. This is fact.Is it really technically called a "harassment settlement", or is it a settlement?
And is the settlement between the women and Cain, or between the women and the NRA?
I think a little more precision in language is required here.

It wouldn’t be called a “harassment settlement”.
In my understanding, no complaint was actually filed w/ the courts. Otherwise, the complaint would be public record.
This seems like an internal company settlement. In typical settlements, there are statements to the effect of “neither party admits wrongdoing.” Also, in the language of settlement documents, there isn’t any allegations or description of events listed. It usually consists of only monetary and privacy terms.

I can't site the record as I haven't seen it, but heard it on Rush, and that's good enough for me, because he demands facts before reporting it. It was NOT a settlement at all, that the woman got. She got 30 something thousand and it was a years severance pay, NOT a settlement. And it was between her and the NRA. Incidentally it was after her charges, and the other chronically offended woman, were deemed to have NO SUBSTANCE.
