From the Politico article, apparently he told someone that she was pretty.

Well, that is certainly sufficiently offensive to sink any conservative front runner.

If women find being told that they look or are pretty, God help all of us. How possibly be being called pretty, if that is what happened, be considered harassment? This is all a tempest in a teapot, a real nothing. Perhaps women who are ‘uncomfortable’ with being told that they look nice or are pretty should go to work in sack cloth without bathing regularly. That should solve the problem. /

A reasonable inference. But the article doesn't even directly say that, possibly because it isn't true. (But to quote Seinfeld, ". . . not that there's anything wrong with that.") There's a curious lack of specificity in all of these stories. Almost as if the effort were to create smoke without actually having a fire—so people could say, "Wull, where there's smoke, there's usually fire. . ."

I wasn't there with Mr. Cain, but this gruel is pretty thin. Anything remotely on the scale of a John Edwards paternity case? A Clinton anything? Not saying it's impossible, but I just haven't seen anything beyond rumors of rumors. Meanwhile, I like the man's candidacy just fine.
