Free Republic founder Jim Robinson has a message for supporters of Mitt Romney: go away.
In an email to POLITICO this afternoon, Robinson admitted that the site routinely blocks Romney supporters from posting -- and offered no apologies for the practice:
Free Republic is a pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun, pro-small government, pro-constitution, pro-liberty site. Governor Romney is none of the above. His record is that of an abortionist, gay rights pushing, gun grabbing, global warming advocating, big government, mandate loving, constitution trampling, flip-flopping liberal progressive with no core values. That and the fact that he is the chief architect and advocate for ObamaCare disqualifies him for any consideration whatsoever on Free Republic as a potential nominee for the presidency.

If by some slim chance Romney gets the nomination, what will we talk about with reference to the election? Will we still be able to express our hatred of Mormonism, at least?
But where would we get our “doper news” and all the discussions that go with that topic ~ remember, no Ron Paul supporters and we are left with no one who would recognize that the Cain cigarette ad featured a handrolled spiffy! (well, except for me ~ I noticed that ~ as did NPR).
What would cause you to do that?
They should be given a pass if they support Cain.

I don’t have an opinion one way or another on banning Romney supporters other than it’s Jim Robinson’s site and he can do want he wants with it.

Boo hoo to Romneybots and Karl Rove. They are running like scared little children!!! Maybe Bill O'Reilly will run a hit piece on us too, but they are giving us more attention.
