I understand what you are saying but we must all be watchful and cautious lest we suddenly find ourselves with religious leaders who lead from outside the bible. No one religion is exempt from penetration by Satan, no not one, it is only the watchful and active Christians who will route them out. I've actually seen this happen in lovely churches, it only takes one person to destroy a whole congregation.

We are to be 'sober, be vigilant; because our adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom we resist stedfast in the faith...'

And as Paul warns, 'For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.'
So it is not surprising that we'll get false pastors and prophets in our midst. Measure them by God's Word.
