Relax, folks. This won’t do much damange to the Cain’s campaign. He’ll do just fine. The people have already made up their mind about voting for Cain.

Remember the Jeremiah Wright’s “God **** America” scandal back in 2008. It didn’t do much damange to 0bama. In the end, he still beat Hillary for the nomination.

So this “sexual harassment” allegations back in the 1990’s just won’t fly. Cain will win the GOP nomination.

I agree with you.

Cain supporters have totally made up their minds.

They certainly shouldn’t be daunted by an obvious hit piece like this women story.

I just wish they would worry a little bit about Cain’s real deficiencies.

I went the worship route with Sarah Palin but she had been so thoroughly vetted for years, there was no chance of anything ‘surprising’ coming up about her. Then all of a sudden, she’s not running.

Fortunately, Rick Perry had declared before that and my husband, who doesn’t like anybody, likes Perry a lot. He kept talking Perry but my heart was with Sarah.

So I had a fall back position when Sarah opted out. Cain seems like a nice guy, but I think that a lot of Palin supporters turned to him with too much worship and adulation.

He has his faults and they are serious. Still I hope he gets the nomination if Perry doesn’t. He would be so much better than Obama.

But I still think it’s a mistake to support Cain by trashing all other candidates ... what if ????

Obama beat Hillary for the nomination because he had the party’s super-delegates on his side, and because the DNC took Florida and Michigan out of the count for breaking the rules.

Cain is unlikely to have that kind of insider support. I don’t know how RNC rules may differ from DNC, but unless Cain gets a very clear mandate, which imho can only happen if Perry, Paul, Newt and the others drop out after the first 5 or 10 primaries, it may be a hard fought battle to win outright.
