Daughter uses bandwidth from a neighbor

If she doesn't have permission, she is stealing.

It’s petty theft though. Or is that pretty theft.

All the neighbor has to do is protect her connection.

I have an open connection and my next-door neighbor always used my bandwidth ... our computers were pretty close together. She laughed about it and so did I.

Believe me, she did enough for me so that I could spare her a little bandwidth.

I expect that the “neighbor” is doing the same as I: Running a (very secure) wireless router, partly for the convenience of connection around the house for Grandma’s little laptop and also for visitors (like kids & grandkids) who don’t seem to be able to go without 24/7 Facebook or email feeds.

So MYOB already, or stand by for an invitation to come help me install a hardwired network both at Fish’s and our ancient establishment.
