Muslims are invariably and intensely inbred. IOW, when a couple marries, both partners are often 1st or 2d cousins. The father and mother of the bride are also cousins, and further related to the father and mother of the groom, who are also related to each other. In those cases where the young fellow can afford more than one wife at a time, the bride(s) will actually be sisters! Besides the inevitably large number of physical birth defects, one must in all scientific candor also admit that the likelihood of a significant number of mental defects is also inevitable.
Case in point: my 45-man Saudi crew: Many deaf. Many with congenital kidney problems, many cross-eyed or wall-eyed, many extreme ectomorphs (6'3", 135lbs with huge floppy ears), many deaf, many with odd tics, and many of'em nuttier than Aunt Laura's fruitcakes. (Many also witty as hell and a lot of fun!)
There is a reason why every strip mall in Riyadh has a Dialysis Unit, an Optometry Shop, and a Hearing Aid Shop! And we thought West Virginia was bad? How the hell can a Westerner deal with these people?
