This NY Times article is alleging that the leadership for the Syrian Free Army is being protected at a camp guarded by the Turkish military - I'm sure this will do wonders for the relationship between Turkey and Assad's regime.
While I doubt we'll see any western/NATO intervention in Syria, I wouldn't be shocked if Turkey at some point in the near future carved out a military buffer zone in northern Syria.

This is good news and may help Turkey gain the respect they SOOO desperately seek.
