Medugorje is a small village, not nearly big enough.
Mostar is the only one that seems to fit the general description geographically and population-wise.

MOstar was very small when I was stationed with the US Army back in 1995. Perhaps I didn’t see the whole area but Mejegorie was huge..mostly catholic population. THat was the only place that wasn’t shot up. I travelled all over Bosnia handing out supplies to the Spook Houses.
