You think in-state tuition pays all the expenses of their college education? Then why do state schools cost less than private ones? Because state schools are subsidized. Also, the out-of-state students, legal American citizens, help pay the way for all those on paying in-state tuition.

Yes, I understand as taxpayers we support our universities, my comment was intended to point out they do not get a free ride, but I suspect you knew that. Until the Feds step in these people are here to stay. Do you enjoy subsidizing them for life or would it be better to turn them into taxpayers and make them part of the system? You do understand we already subsidize their primary and secondary education? That is the free ride. Go ahead and irrationally blame Perry for what began long before he arrived on the scene though.
