So knowing that people like myself absolutely will not support Mitt Romney why are people like you insisting on supporting him when the stakes are so high?

(See how that works both ways?)

Do you feel a sense of relief that neither McCain nor Mitt Romney is president at this moment? Do you feel better for this nation that McCain and Huckabee teamed up to keep Romney from winning the GOP nomination in 2008?

When you look at the legislation hussein has signed. When you consider hussein's executive orders. When you see the judical appointments hussein has made. Do you feel a sense of relief that Mitt Romney isn't president?

2012 is not about electing the candidate whose positions are closest to our ideal but rather to elect someone other than hussein. Any of the current Republican candidates would be an enormous improvement over hussein but not all of the current Republican candidates are capable of winning a general election.

We go into the primaries and vote for who we feel is closest to our ideal and has the best chance of winning the Republican nomination. By convention time, if our candidate isn't the nominee, so be it. We pull every bit as hard for the nominee even if we have to plug our noses. To do otherwise risks the national calamity of hussein getting a second term.
