I respect you man but I don’t know where you are getting the bureaucratic component stuff from? The so called ‘opportunity zones’ are designed to reduce bureaucracy and wave rules like the minimum wage and such to encourage growth in certain areas. I’m not saying it is perfect and it is true that in the past so called ‘empowerment’ have been big pork barrel boondoggles but that most certainly IS NOT the idea that Cain has. Now just as with anything there is no guarantee such things will remain as planned as others implement them which is always the risk but overall Cain’s plan drives the conversation in the right way which is towards tax simplification. People and businesses who now pay virtually no income taxes will which is good from a political perspective too. When you don’t have any skin in the game and think that all these govt programs and giveaways are ‘free’ then you tend to make less sound decisions. The big thing needed to help prevent using taxes in an abusive fashion is a Constitutional amendment to limit taxation specifically. What I’d like personally is to remove the ability of the federal govt to collect any taxes directly from citizens and instead the states would have to authorize what they will provide to fund the federal government. This would end the cycle of money flowing from the states, the feds taking a cut and sending it back in a money laundering scheme that would make a crime family proud. Most states receive exactly back or a bit more in taxes than they contribute the overhead is passed onto richer states and contributes to the debt with the DC benefiting the most and taking the biggest cut. This change would save a lot of cash and also force decentralization.
A another more difficult amendment would limit states and their tax devices to direct taxes of individuals just as originally written into the second constitution which we are under. It may not be necessary because as long as people are free to move from state to state bad tax policies in one state will benefit those states that have more business friendly policy.

Well that’s my tax plan and I think it would forever change the country for the better. It would minimize federal power and increase the power of governors and state legislatures and produce a better self limiting system. Either way Cain’s plan does not produce a bigger bureaucracy. Those who are saying that are just lying. I’m supporting Cain now because I think he provides an excellent opportunity for us. Will he be perfect? No but if the biggest criticism of him is that he has no experience in elected office then that isn’t bad.

Don’t be tricked into the perfect being the enemy of the good. Ending up with Romney is not an option. Let’s disarm Obama with his opposite. A private sector advocate who has worked and been successful with real mainstream businesses. Let’s bring the Cain and we just may change the dynamic forever and destroy the Democrat African American Republicans are racist dynamic in the process. Right now Cain doesn’t have the name rec but has some of the highest positives of any of the candidates. That should tell you something. What other candidates are slamming those stupid OWS protesters and calling them what they are?

It comes down to do you believe we can will without electing a status quo politician. If we can’t then what exactly are we fighting for?

Those zones will have to be administered and monitored (by WHAT?), states will have to reapply (to WHAT?) for their zone annually.

Your job will be incentivized to move to Detroit. It’s that simple. Spreading the jobs around instead of creating them.

Make the whole country a zone! A simple one paragraph flat tax without new forms of taxes and without new bureaucracies.
