Its funny, but I trusted the “Powers that be” to qualify Obama. I remember the summer of 2008, thinking it was not normal to elect a dual citizen, and I remember warning people he was a dual citizen that summer.

I also remember, a few days before the election, Michele Obama said something, that I always thought referred to this issue, something like “They can't stop us now”. I took it to mean that they had the votes, regardless of qualifications. That an uproar would occur if he were disqualified, and the clock had run out on finding the truth.

Yep. Like most people, we didn’t know the history, didn’t know the law. And someone set about making that law as hard to find as possible, then making it seem to be irrelevant.

It is abhorrent. To call it ironic that a guy like Tim Stanley would be a part of something like that. maybe someone set him up, who knows. Its BAD though.

From his Linked in page:

My recollection is that she said “Barrack will be President. You need to accept it”.

it was something like that but I have been unable to find that statement.

I thought is odd at the time and then got caught up in the eligibility issue and it jogged my memory.

I know she said that and combined with Barry receiving SS coverage so early I know this whole thing was a put up.

PA-RIVER:
Remember, a few days before the election, Michelle Obama said something like “They can't stop us now” ... took it to mean that they had the votes, regardless of ualifications.

Michelle Obama, in a phone interview as reported 15 October 2008 by African Press International:
My husband and I know that there is no law that will stop him from becoming the president, just because some American white racists are bringing up the issue of my husband’s adoption by His step father.
Note that the API article is scrubbed, and the Obama campaign machine immediately issued denials, claiming the interview was a fraud. See for one example of many follow-up reports at the time: Vox Populi blog of 17 October 2008.

Who knows?

However the timing is interesting. Obama's white relative who raised him, that being one Madelyn Dunham, his maternal grandmother was at that very time dead or dying. I say "dead or dying" because with the Obamas you just never know! The public account per the Wikipedia entry for Madelyn is thus:

On October 20, 2008, the Obama campaign announced that he would suspend campaign events on October 23 and 24 to spend some time with Dunham. His communications director told reporters that she had fallen ill in the preceding weeks, and that while she was released from the hospital the week before, her health had deteriorated "to the point where her situation is very serious."

On November 2, 2008 (November 3, 2008 in the continental United States), the Obama campaign announced that Madelyn Dunham had "died peacefully after a battle with cancer" in Hawaii.

So taking the initial API story to be true Michelle Obama--who is the Black Queen of Obama's life, the one who seems to keep his white side buried, including his connections with his white family--took it on her own sweet initiative late one night, perhaps the SAME night grandmother Dunham is said to have been "released" from the hospital to the direct care of Obama's half-sister Maya, to call up API and claim, in paraphrase, "no racist whitey will be able to stop us using the law now!"

There's direct evidence--his own words--that Barack Obama viewed his own grandmother who raised him, Madelyn Dunham, as a white racist, and plenty of biographical evidence that Michelle bears an abiding and mighty grudge against whites, or at least racist whites.

It is exceptionally curious what happened when Obama did go to Hawaii to visit the woman who raised him, his own mother's mother, the next week. Why is that?
