I want INDIVIDUALS to choose to be Christians. I don’t want the government to mandate that people be a certain religion or promote a religion.
I have every right to expect our nation’s leaders to believe in certain values. That doesn’t mean I want those leaders to LEGISLATE or require every citizen believe as they do!

Values and religion are separate. Why are you worried about Mitt’s Mormonism if you don’t expect leaders to legislate based on their religion?
