My sense is that behind the scenes, if the Republicans have any common sense, they should have a Bill ready for just the case of Issue 2 being defeated, and present the Legislation the following day.

Second, remove Police and Fire from the New Bill, and keep all else the same.

The ONLY way to combat the government Unions is to confront the issue HEAD-ON.

What Ohio needs ultimately to do is to make itself a Right-To-Work State, before any more public employee Union growth occurs (and it will).

I think things have deteriorated to the point that only a constitutional amendment banning unionization of government employees will prevent this kind of mischief.
