I did it too for my first three.
At the fourth one I gave up and went with the disposables.
The beauty of it is, under Obamacare you can keep diapering your offspring until they’re 27 years old.
I had my oldest in cloth diapers for about three weeks before I gave up and that was with a service. It was a full change of clothes every time I changed him, bedding too, and no service for that, or washer in the house but for the sink and hand scrubbing. Praise to the inventor of the disposable.
There is a black market in diapers, already, maybe EBT purchases? I went to a flea market across the river from Philly a month ago, 80% of the customers were black, probably 50% immigrants, Haitian, Mestizo or Middle Eastern. Lots of Chinese vendors. And so many of the vendors carried diapers. Now how does a flea market vendor get diapers cheaper than a supermarket? Free diapers or diaper vouchers are just going to be another contribution to the black market supply, even if you only gave them to the preschool for use there.
A teacher in Jersey City told me that many Hispanic kids were coming into kindergarten not potty-trained. The disposables were so easy to use for the parents, and the children had no embarrassment.
Cost was a major incentive for me to get mine out of diapers, and convenience an incentive to let them go a while longer ... I’m in no mood to pay for anyone else’s convenience.
They already have free formula - WIC. All that is left from birth to death is free college education - everything else from formula, children's healthcare, public education through HS, food stamps, utility assistance, EBT cash benefits, cell phones, housing assistance, unemployment coverage for years, on and on and on is already being given away to the freeloaders.
I can tell you exactly how: stolen truckloads of merchandise. I broker freight as a part of my business and you would be AMAZED at how many truckloads, of even ridiculous items, are stolen. Diapers, Kleenex, OTC medicines, batteries, cigarrettes - you name it, it gets stolen by the 53' trailer full - that is a sh*tload of diapers (no pun intended).

Although they push breast feeding, I believe WIC covers formula as well.
If you haven’t any money you use what you have to.
Certainly the throw away diapers are nice,but like I say, You do what you have to do.

ids nowdays can't tell if they are wet with the fancy disposables that wick away the moisture.

I’m sorry but the poor shouldn’t need diapers. If you can’t afford to diaper a baby let alone feed and raise one then you should be more careful. Condoms would be more appropriate.
Kids today are too damn lazy to wash diapers. They’re the me, me, me generation. The last generation was bad enough.
I still think violent video games and violent/immoral movies have made kids minds mush—along with the weed. They think they’re owed. They think they’re immortal.
I wouldn’t want to bring a kid into this world at this time.

WTF? Maybe because their kid filled up a diaper, but I sincerely doubt twenty percent of mothers stayed home because they couldn’t find a clean diaper.
Daycare workers will probably revolt at the idea of having to rinse and store them until retrieved by the parental units.
They'll claim they're a Bio-Hazard or some such nonsense.
