I’m confused by your claim — why is it that Cain couldn’t say “If I’m elected, I’ll implement Neal Boortz’s copyrighted tax plan”? Is Neal holding his plan hostage for royalties or something? Is it actually a violation of a copyright for government to implement Neal’s plan?
Or are you saying that Cain couldn’t take credit for a plan if it had Neal’s name on it, so Cain had to come up with his own named plan?
And anyway, Cain has said he wants Fairtax, but that he didn’t think that would be poltiically popular, so he picked 9-9-9 because it WOULD be politically popular. Once he gets elected on 9-9-9 and implements it, he wants to then get rid of 9-9-9 and implement the Fairtax.
Is Fairtax the Boortz plan? Because 9-9-9 isn’t much like Fairtax.
Also, if 9-9-9 is Neal’s plan, why does Cain keep saying Richard Lowrie is the primary author of the plan?
And why, if it is Neal’s plan, do news reports keep saying that Arthur Laffer helped design the plan, along with Stephen Moore?
So now the 9-9-9 plan is co-owned by Boortz, Laffer, Moore, AND Lowrie?
And how does a new tax plan which is revenue neutral help “cut the size of government”?
Since you’re talking about his plan - this is nothing other than curiosity - I noticed that twice last night Herman Cain said “My” and then quickly said “Our” Plan. What’s up with that?
Have you ever in your life tried to express your thoughts in one sentence, I really doubt it. They could not use Neal’s plan, so they pulled together a similar plan to it. All of which is unimportant, the important part is Mr Cain was willing to be the man and put forth real change. Now we have the me too stuff, from the little boy, coming forward.
