I have no problem agreeing with certain issues against "Wall Street." I think they and the Tea Party can agree that there should be no more bailouts, and that firms should go bankrupt if they are not solvent. (Ahem, Bank of America) I also think we would agree on the rule of law, and that it should be applied to everyone equally, including too big to fail banks.

Actually, this is a good issue to use against Obama, despite his flirtation with these people, because the SEC has be lax in prosecuting criminals, and has even shredded documents collected on these firms.

Obama is hoping that these people are his cavalry riding in to save him, but they could just as easily be turned against him.

I agree with your post except this:

“I also think we would agree on the rule of law, and that it should be applied to everyone equally, including too big to fail banks.”

Lefties by definitions don’t actually believe in the rule of law or equality before the law. They spout it, like they spout civil rights rhetoric, as a means of cloaking themselves with legitimacy. But when the rubber meets the road, they have goals such as redistributing wealth, central economic planning and other measures to create their socialist utopia: all antithetical to the rule of law.

“Some are more equal than others”
