Energy Catalyser: Potential game changer
October 19, 2011
BR RESEARCH
In 1985 the Norwegian music band, "A-ha" released a music video entitled "Take on me" which showed lead singer Morten Harket reminiscing over his love life as he interacts with moving images of his lover on a sheet of paper. While the song became an instant hit; the concept of an interactive multimedia device only received a baffled response of uh huh from viewers.
Fast forward to the present age and any self-respecting techie will greet mention of such technology with an unimpressed duh. Bottom line technology is evolving rapidly and it is creating new possibilities every day.
Fortunately, technological advances are not restricted to personal entertainment devices. In fact, as the worlds energy needs continue to mushroom, alternative energy has been the buzzword among visionary inventors and savvy investors.
These visionaries, keen on riding the waves of innovation, are eyeing a promising new technology on the horizon that could wash away conventional energy generation technologies. On October 28, Italian inventor Andrea Rossi and his associate Sergio Focardi will test their invention called the "Energy Catalyser" (E-Cat).
Rossi contends that this apparatus is capable of "carrying out nickel and hydrogen exothermal reactions". Put simply, the E-Cat is supposed to carry out a fusion reaction which converts a Nickel atom, into a Copper atom, releasing heat as a consequence. This heat can be channellised to power electrical devices, vehicles or machinery much like a steam engine.
Of course, there are many doubts surrounding this development. Chief among which is that theoretically, fusion reactions with any element, heavier than Iron (such as Nickel or Copper) are endothermic, not exothermic. In other words, the E-Cat apparatus would end up using more energy than it generates and would, hence, fail to live up to its intended purpose.
While there are at least as many sceptics of the E-Cat as there are fans; the scheduled test has drawn global attention. If the apparatus is able to achieve what Rossi and Focardi claim; it could radicalise power generation and reign in global demand for fossil fuels.
The "low energy nuclear reaction" would drive down the cost of power generation to a fraction of the cost incurred in even the cheapest conventional techniques such as hydro-power generation. Such a development would undoubtedly be a game changer for countries like Pakistan which are struggling to cough up resources enough to bridge the ever-widening chasm between the demand and generation capacity of electricity.
Even if the E-Cat actually does what it is supposed to create energy at a miniscule cost; it would still take some time before the technology can be adapted for large-scale power generation. Still, the potential impact of this invention is almost unimaginably far-reaching and as such the upcoming test of this technology will likely draw much attention in coming days.
2) You lost money because your cold fusion contract on Intrade lost ***No, genius, I WON
You linked it to me, the contract failed .... so unless you bet that it wouldn’t be reproduced, you lost.
When Pakistan takes notice then we know the eeee-cat is legit.
***Your belief and 50cents could get you a cup of coffee, or better yet if you were reliable, a contract on Intrade. Your posts tend to degrade into nonsequiturs as the night goes on, so I see this evening is no different.
DITTO -— Do you ever think how well you are guilty of every charge you level?
TROLOLO TIME
LOLZ!!!

Its intended purpose is to separate suckers from their money.
responded, separate response for every one
Good Times!
Sometimes twice a day. I think it can be called an obsession at this point, especially since each post rarely adds anything we don't already know from his previous posts.
In order for those hoses to account for all the energy, they’d have to be 12 inches wide rather than 1 inch wide.
I suppose that should be reason enough for you not to get dragged, kicking & screaming, onto these threads, moonboy.
To boil a kettle of water? I don't think so. Besides, it takes what, three or four hours to start boiling, when a regular hot plate can do the job in minutes.
Your intended purpose is to drive others away from CF threads. You’ve even acknowledged that you are an entertainment troll.
You are assuming that there is energy .. assume nothing.
Really, don’t try to deduce what the trick is, you are dealing with a magician. The secret of the trick is directly in front of you and obvious.
Just look ... what do you really know ... you know nothing .. you only know what Rossi chooses to show you whether real or not .. this is the secret of a magic trick.
Kevmo, you have blasted others and me for calling this cold fusion ... yet now you are calling it cold fusion again.
Which is it?
I am here to prevent you from promoting fraud. I’m entertained by your childish behavior.
You don’t even post where you got that definition.
It’s some kind of point being made about... a single word. You don’t have what it takes to discuss scientific matters. No wonder you’re so focused on this guy’s past. Hey, genius, there’s a dozen other people in the room! They’d all have to be in on the fraud.
You’re delusional, now.
There was a legitimate CF thread post yesterday and I posted how I didn't see anything in common with legitimate researchers and Rossi. And then you're always thanking me for bumping your threads, so I don't see how you think I'm driving people away.
You cannot prove fraud. You won’t even contribute to the effort to add facts about it being fraud or real. You’re here to troll & seagull.
Kevmo, you know this chart is meaningless ... there are a million ways to get a chart to reflect this result.
