Actually I support the Fair Tax. Most states have sales taxes already so it wouldn’t affect them much, And if the income tax were eliminated at the same time, retailers would save a ton of time and effort by not doing income and payroll taxes. But 999 is worst of both worlds.

Cain’s 999 plan, as it is now formulated, will not be supported by senior citizens who live on a fixed income. Seniors worked all their lives, paid into Social Security and have skin in the game...we’re not getting a “free ride.”

Many of us seniors on fixed incomes must use food pantries and use food money to pay for medicine instead. We do not have any more money to pay the current taxes, food, medicine, rent, utilities PLUS Cain’s 9-9-9 tax.

Cain still has time to make adjustments, changes to his 9-9-9 tax plan, if he wants to, that is. If he wants the senior citizens vote, he had best make some tax plan changes, because his plan will kill off senior citizens sooner, rather than later.
