Then take over the other side of the river. It’s more important that we keep those guys out than that a cow gets a drink of water. If it’s too much effort to water them otherwise may I recommend some great barbeque recipes ~

Palin on live on FOX and there is still sun on the Mountrins in Alaska. You can’t even do that in Texas at this hour my friend.

No, the Texas Sun isn't afraid to rise and set.

That’s why there is a timekeeper! Newt lays out his entire contract in his first 15 minutes. Obama spends his rambling about himself and the “mess I inherited”, until the timekeeper stops him.

Yep, Cain was set up from the beginning to help splinter the conservative vote and ease the way for Mitt. He’s not in it to win it—and it shows.

Lol...I think if you take two seconds to click “In forum” you can find out the last time somebody posted. That’s pretty lightweight stalking.

My post was intended to be humorous and sarcastic at the same time. As Herman Cain would say, “I apologize if I offended anyone.”

Now, if you’ll excuse me, there are real politics to discuss, not obscure theological arguments that don’t interest me in the least, since I have no dog in that hunt.

I want principles first, and plitical savy second ..That is why I like Perry.

You and 5 percent of the country. He needed a homerun tonight and did not deliver. Yes he was better than other debates but having an F and going to a D+ is not enough.

No uh-oh here. Cain is showing he’s human. I respect that. I do not want another polished-career politician-narcissist-{President.

“Perfect example of a Mormon hater. “All his wives”?

How does drawing a link between mormonism and polygamy a statement that “hates mormons?”

As a mormonic member, you probably are missing the funny part of references to:

... multiple wives (actual doctrine and historical fact)
... magic underwear (actual claims of magical powers to protect and actually worn - heck, you may be wearing it as you type)
... becoming gods (actual doctrine)
... etc.

Of course, they are all heretical, but they also are funny to non-mormons. To reference them is not hatred.

Try again and lighten up.

It hurt Perry because it was a question about personal faith in God, not a question about faith in political leaders. You could tell by the way half the audience sort of audibly cringed when he said it (and the way he looked up and to the left just before saying it) that it was a mistake to say that. Every other person on that stage answered that question on the basis that it was asked - as it related to their personal faith in God and the impact that a person’s faith in God should or should not have on their qualifications to be President.

I’ll say again - I really, really wanted to like Perry. I was hyped up about him joining the race, especially as it became more and more likely that the reality TV lady wasn’t going to run. But Perry just comes off looking desperate, in my opinion. Not a good look for him.
