This OWS mob is similar to Luther’s mob: co-opting justified popular frustration, up-ending everything that reminds people of the status quo, and grabbing power.
Popular determination of objective sin is the root of protestantism, and it was born of sinful over-reaction to the sins of others. Meeting sin with sin is never a good idea.
That could be said to people on both sides of the dispute.
