Me too. And like I was pointing out last weekend, FAR FEWER people will be killed trying to mess with a live wire at the top of the fence than are killed EVERY YEAR in the Arizona desert...after they’ve crossed over. Why, because people aren’t STUPID ENOUGH to challenge a well-constructed fence of that type. A few will...of course, but far less than what we have to clean up from the desert.
And yes, EVERYONE in Mexico will know EXACTLY how that fence is built. Why? Because they are not the IDIOTS that people on this site seem to think they are, they have TVs, and they will be more than well-informed as to the dangers of challenging that fence.
In other words, the fence will be LIFE-SAVER, with or without a live wire...and probably save even more lives with the wire, as far fewer people will dare to challenge it.
