I know the area well. Right near UCLA. I was a RE Broker for June Scott & Assoc.in Beverly Hills when I was 25. (I quit when I was 26) : )

I lived in a studio apartment on Pontius St. (one block west of Sepulveda at Santa Monica Blvd.). The building was later torn down and the "TheOldLady Memorial High-Rise Parking Structure" was erected in its place. Sniffle...

Hmmm... When you were 25, I was 32 and living in Inglewood by then because I got a job at Xerox's Palo Alto Research Center -- Advanced Development Lab in El Segundo. That ADL was shut down in 1982. There is (or was?) also an ADL in Texas. I don't follow the Xerox news anymore.
