Rick Perry has been a big disappointment. I liked all I heard, but when I saw him on the debates - his swagger, too small suit, chest puffed up, thumbs up gestures, really turned me off

Same here. It just seemed so scripted and contrived to me when he flashed that stupid grin with the thumbs up. He just oozes that car salesman shtick that turns so many people off.

Of course, the debate performance didn't help either.

I've always said that I will vote for Perry if he is the nominee but so long as there are better choices available, I am going to support them first.

Agree with you on Cain's plan vs. Romney's. We don't need another 150 pages added to our 70,000 page tax code! Scrap the whole convoluted tax system and give all Americans a single page form to fill out each year.

I agree with both of what you said. I was excited when Perry got in but was massively let down in his debate performances. And then the illegal alien issue. It was a big let down.

I had been a Cain fan from early on, but, to be honest, didn’t really think He would get a shot to prove himself.

But if Perry won the nomination, the media would have had a field day with his debate performances against President Obama.
