Love Cain, but I don’t think he can beat Obama. He will be “Palinized” during the General Election if he gets the Repub nod.
2012 election is about ONE thing, and ONE thing only.... who do Americans think is most competent to get us out of this mess. They really don’t think Obama can. But the republican candidate has to be perceived as competent to fix the problems. This 2012 race will not be about pure ideology for most Americans. It will not be a minutia that we political junkies bat around all day. It will be simple. Who can fix this mess? Is the republican better qualified than Obama.
Cain would be great. But most Americans realized they hired a rookie in Obama. I am afraid they will see Cain as the new republican rookie.
I don’t agree that Cain’s a rookie. I believe the more the lamestream calls him pizza boy or Godfather whatever, they’ll seal in the fact that he is a successful businesman and CEO material. He can kick the community agitator’s ass around the block without breaking a sweat. It’s not the left we need fret about... it’s the lame old stupid party’s elite that will torpedo Cain. They’re every bit as corrupt as the dems, and they have to cover their turf. Nobody gonna clean up Dodge on my watch!

Sounds like a good way of adding to Cain's black vote. Blacks with decent, non-government jobs are not happy with Obama. Add a Cain-bashing MSM and Cain may get 40% of the black vote.
