Wow.

I suspected the federalization of the college loan program would mean indentured servitude... but I didn't get the economic/ethnic angle.

That move was on behalf of the university faculties and administrations, not the students.

One of the biggest things we could do to improve education would be to resume educational loans being discharged in bankruptcy, and make the colleges be co-signers on the loans.

Overnight, colleges would stop offering majors that did not lead to paying jobs (unless the student paid cash in advance), and stop accepting unqualified students.
