Bear in mind that many businesses will post a sign saying, We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. The implication is that they also reserve the right to escort anyone to the door as well as refuse the service. Rowdy guests/customers could well find themselves on the sidewalk. None of the signs say a thing about “fair.” I don’t see much difference between those, and Jim’s management of Free Republic.
Well, then I rest my case. If Jim wants to show me to the door, that’s his prerogative. He hasn’t. I’ve been in much worse tiffs than this on Freep and he didn’t then, either. In fact, I haven’t even been rowdy. So enough about what I should or shouldn’t be saying about Jim’s management.
