I've stated more than once that I haven't decided whom to support, Cain or otherwise, so disabuse yourself that I have some nefarious "agenda" here. Also, you've jumped into this speaking FOR another FReeper, yet accuse me of treating him like a child? Such irony.

You might want to think about the reason Democrats have used the senior scare tactic all these years. It works. And not just on liberal seniors or socialist seniors or "dumb" seniors or whatever you want to label. When people find themselves in vulnerable positions, they get very nervous about anyone suggesting a change in the status quo. And if you think the Dems will be the only ones using that tactic this election I have a bridge to sell you. ANY discussion of ANY serious reform is going to be demonized just as we've always seen. Whether its 999 or anything else, at least Cain has the gonads to get the discussion out there. Cripes, even here the very discussion of it has people at each other throats, a year out! It's insane. That senior citizen freeper is way ahead of you! She did her homework, called Cain asking how it affects those on fixed incomes - NO REPLY - and then came her with contact info for others to do the same. And yet your felt obligated to tell her to watch out for liberals. What a joke you are with your ignoring what she was asking about Cain and him not answering and you 'turn the subject' to warn her about liberals while adding - don't worry his plan won't take affect for a long time.
