It's not a brush off, it's 'a you support Cain - and don't expect me to vet him - since I have no idea what he is really thinking - even though he tells us'. I'll wait until Mitt's the nominee and he picks Cain - until then it's just noise.'
I guess noise means - the stuff some don't want to admit or deal with now but will wait until it's too late.

I find it revealing that although Herman Cain has backed off of many of his remarks - he has NEVER backed off the remark he made about running as Romney’s vice president.
During a Meet the Press interview, Cain said he likes Henry Kissinger, George Will and Charles Krauthammer as foreign policy experts. During the last debate, he named Alan Greenspan as the best Federal Reserve Chairman.
RINOS all - no wonder he likes Romney so much!
