No wb...I don’t have problems. It is you if you overlook the clues to someone’s nature.
The bible states it clearly and that’s good enough for me: Out of the mouth, proceedth the thoughts of the heart.

If Romney gets the nomination, then there is going to be a revolt in the GOP.
The Tea Pary will drain the GOP of conservatives.
I’m NOT going to vote for the lessor of two evils.
OBVIOUSLY the GOP elites did not get the message in 2008.
2010 was not a vote for the Republicans but a vote against the Democrats and Obama.
Conservative or nothing. Romney will only slow the bleeding, but still keeping us on the wrong path.
How can you vote for a Liberal like Romney is beyond me.
To: Outlaw Woman
I’ll let others decide from your own words. But thanks for letting us know you think a black man drinking from a “white” water fountain portends evil intentions.

Speaking for myself, My conscience is clear and I can sleep well at night knowing I didn’t abandon my principles.
That works great for me. If enough Conservatives did the same we wouldn’t have to worry about Romney now would we?

I will not vote for Romney, period.
If he is the nominee, forget the presidential vote.
Vote to get real conservatives a majority in CONGRESS.
A lame duck Obama is better than Romney (and exponentially better than a lame duck Romney which is a distinct possibility).

Thanks Jim for Free Republic. I appreciate all you do and love FR. AND I don't like RINOs either. Its interesting how the Republican establishment has coalesced around Romney; just another typical go along to get along establishment Republican in the mold of Gerald Ford.

Yes even if we all hold to our principles we would still have to worry about an endless string of Romneys. The GOP is not conservative.
Until we have a conservative party, wash, rinse and repeat.

The progressive wing of the GOP does not really comprehend that the TEA party rebellion is aimed squarely at THEM!! Agreed. And Romney is Obama Lite.
Rush Limbaugh says if Romney ends up with the nomination he will support him. I won't. I would go with a 3rd party or write in. Better to lose the WH for one cycle. If that's what it takes to get the Party's attention then so be it.

just another black man with a chip on his shoulder. Listening to NPR this weekend and they had a segment on Cain; in it he was talking about how he and his brother, "broke the law" by drinking out of the "whites only" drinking fountain. He went into great detail about how his older brother took the "first" drink while he kept "lookout" and then it was his turn while his brother stood watchAnd your problem with this anecdote is what, exactly?
To: Lorianne
Very true. And we have to overcome this ‘fear’ we have of a 3rd party. The GOP is dead. So we can pull ourselves up and make one (TEA Party into a REAL party) or ride the spin cycle forever and lie to ourselves some more.
The only thing between a viable 3rd party (2nd really) and reality is our own FEAR. So when the GOP sticks it up our collective whazoo, what should we do? Let them? Nope.

How perfect. I've seen how the little righteous ‘click’ works on FR. I stated my position clearly but yet you want to somehow twist and contort it into something beyond the meaning. My comment was NOT disparaging a black man drinking from a ‘white’ water fountain. It was the fact that Cain came up with this tale after being attacked for not marching in civil rights demonstrations.
Keep your blinders on wb; when you finally take them off you will see the desolation left behind by someone who, like his predecessor, has no clue. Someone who governs acording to color instead of according to the constitution.

Ummm what do you mean? What exactly is unclear to you? Are you someone who wishes to turn the meaning into something that wasn’t intended? I have a problem with anyone governing acording to color instead of the constitution. You don’t?

The TEA party rebellion is made up of tens of millions of liberty-loving, patriotic citizens who are totally fed up with corrupt, lying, two-faced, smooth-talking, big government socialists, corrupt crony capitalist bastard, progressives, Marxists, etc, and it makes no difference to us which party they belong toBears repeatin'.
