And if you don't believe it, watch how this post will get trashed ... it doesn't require nasty sentences aimed at insulting fellow freepers, to post facts about a candidate you don't support. Reducing turnout will work in the establishment's candidate's favor. Democraps have used this tactic for deacdes. Milt supporters use it so they do not have to expose for whom they are working.
Unfortunately, even some "conservatives" become emotionally involved with their candidate selection, sometimes to the point of "defending" them with vitriolic posts. Posts do not have to be "rational" and sometimes/often aren't. Although I know FR does have trolls, I think most of the nasty posts are from people lashing out, often because of desperation, when the candidate they support is doing poorly and they don't really know who to blame, so they blame everyone who supports another candidate.
Palin supporters posts became more and more bitter the clearer it became that she would not be the nominee. Perry supporters posts are becoming more an more vitriolic the further his poll numbers confirm he will not be the nominee. Although it's unnecessary and not helpful to anyone, I guess it's just part of human nature.
