In my view, a Romney win of the R nomination essentially guarantees a 3rd party challenger from the right.

Probably so but a third party would assure 0 another win. There isn't enough backing for a third party IMO, unless you know there is.

Romney is stuck at 23% in the primary. He was stuck at about the same level in the 2008 primary. That's about all he is going to get, either in the primary or in the general election.

The liberal/moderate/commie wing of the Republican Party make up less than 25% of registered Republicans. More than 75% of us registered Republicans are conservative, and therefore against Romney (and every other RINO the establishment trots out to test the waters).

Now about those Independents: the 2010 election proved that the majority of Independents are conservative, more conservative than most Republicans, and they came out to vote in droves for conservative TEA Party candidates.

These conservative Independents outnumber the entire number of registered Republicans, and these conservative Independents combined with the 75% of conservative Republicans outnumber the liberal/moderate/commie wing of the Republican Party six to one, or 86% conservatives against 14% RINO vote.

In other words, the RINO mouthpieces gracing the daily talk shows represent only 14% of the general election vote, only slightly larger than the 10% to 12% represented by black voters who vote overwhelmingly for Democrats.

The only power the RINOs have is the power of the mainstream media, which they have used successfully for decades to convince conservatives that we must vote for the liberal/moderate/commie RINO of their choosing.

NO MORE! Never again! We will not vote for Romney or any other RINO!

We will have a conservative nominee, or the GOP will disappear in the dustbin of history along with the Whigs.

I’m with you completely. The GOP is going to have to dump Romney if they want to remain viable.

This is OUR tea party rebellion. Among others, the tea party conservative Republicans make up the majority of the current conservative wing of the Republican party VOTERS. If the statist/progressive conservative-hating Karl Rove RINO wing successfully wins the nomination for RINO Romney (with the all out help of the commie media) then the current tea party wing of the Republican party will become the new official opposition party of America. We must have a pro-constitution conservative party to combat the commies and Marxist/statist progressives!!

Long live the TEA party!!

Beyond that, the moment Romney wins the nomination, the commie media will turn on him and all of his past liberal/progressive acts, deeds, statements and speeches will be blasted across the wall-to-wall media and will be contrasted with every flip-flop the lying bastard ever made. And his vaunted real world corporate experience with Bain Capital will become the bane of his existence once the current crop of anti-capitalism/anti-corporatism commie lunatics get through with him. The media commies are pushing for Romney, simply because he’ll be the easiest for them to defeat in the general. Romney is Obama-lite!!
