I really didn’t expect that level of ‘and I’m taking my ball home’ from Cain, either. I was alarmed.

Yes, he's named some very good potential running mates such as DeMint and Ryan. Both of them rank quite highly in my book.

But his strange affinity for Romney is a concern and I really don't understand it when I look at Cain's stance on most of the issues.

I’d listen to Cain over the years and think ‘why can’t we have THIS guy for president?’. He rang every one of my bells.

I’d really thought he’d abhor Romney and align with Perry. I can’t understand it, either.

I really don't understand much of his 999 plan (even after going to the web site that explains it). They say it plays no favorites, an even playing field so to speak, but then what are empowerment zones if not playing favorites? When I did a search of those zones, it comes up with some puzzling places. Fresno, CA., Tuscon, AZ, Chicago, IL, NY, NY, etc. There are even environmental empowerment zones. I realize that he did not initiate these zones, but WTH? He was my favorite when Palin was out of the running, but I'm having second thoughts. Maybe I'm just not informed enough. Can someone explain this to me in layman's terms?
