Again, Herman Cain would repudiate the terms that the poster I replied to used, which were "Honkeys for Herman" and "Crackers for Cain".
I stand by my objections 100%.
For historical interest, you should know that "Cracker" is a time-honored name for the people of southern Georgia and northern Florida that trace their roots back for many generations. The term reflects their pioneer roots.
"Florida Cracker" and "Georgia Cracker" are the historical equivalent of "Oklahoma Sooner", "California Forty-Niner" and "Carolina Tar Heel",
Just so you know.
Enthusiastic Cain supporters using a form of self-deprecating humor. Lighten up.
I understood that ‘Honkey’ is a derogatory term used by blacks to describe the nasal speaking voice of whites and ‘cracker’ to describe the person who would whip slaves slacking off in the cotton fields. Seems counter productive to whip your workers - so probably a lie.
Just go with;
Honk if you love Herman!!!
and
I’m crackers (crazy) for Cain!!!
