The only way Romney gets the nomination is if the 5 much more conservative (than Romney) candidates stay in the race too long and bloody each other and divide the votes. One on one against Romney, any one of the 5 wins the nomination and following general election.
That’s EXACTLY it. Romney has pretty much peaked. He only wins the nomination if the vote is split.
