I usually enjoy your posts. Your statement above does little to maintain the quality of Free Republic. Why do you have to resort to insults for other FR posters who back a different Republican candidate?
Sarah Palin was my initial choice, but since she decided not to run, I am now considering Cain and Paul. As I look into their positions, I try to see how their positions line up with the Constitution.
Right now, I love Cain’s character and leadership. Man, can that man give powerful speeches! I do not, however, want a new area that the Federal Govt can tax. I think it was @ FR that someone posted 9+9+9 + 5yrs= 20+20+20 Another thing that concerns me is when he said he would appoint Volker to head the Fed Reserve.
With Ron Paul, I love his economic positions. I am trying to further understand his position with respect to foreign affairs. At first it seems ridiculous. Yet, we do seem to be in so many countries fighting so many wars, with unclear reasons/justifications in many (but not all) instances.
I imagine we would be much better than Obama with either candidate.
I just don’t think it’s appropriate to insult other FReepers who hold differing views.
