You call us the ‘Party Of No’, I call us the resistance. (your tagline)

- — - - -
Yet you admit that you will cave if the establishment shoves Romney down our throats. That isn’t saying NO or being part of the resistance, that is giving in.

What about voters in California, who will have only two choices on the ballot in November, 2012 due to the new open primary law. Third party candidates will not survive the primary election to get on the general election ballot. Also, write-ins are not possible under the new law.

Who are we to vote for then? A vote for the Republican candidate is a vote against Obama. Leaving the ballot blank helps Obama win another term.

I am convinced those promising to stay home actually want an Obama second term. (Glock)

You might wanna ping the boss to your view.

BTW, I’m not staying home, I’m going 3rd party if there is a conservative, and I will vote down ticket.

Just not Romney, NEVER.

In California, third party candidates will not survive the new “open primary”, where only the two top vote getters, regardless of party, proceed to the general election. All other candidates are stricken from the ballot.
If Romney gets the nomination, it will be him and Obama on the ballot and nobody else. Write-ins are not permitted.

What then???

Cain, with his cancer and his lack of Governing experience,

the cancer isn’t an issue, even his doctor just said that the other day. And his lack of political experience is why people like him. Career politicians are the problem.

Bumpity bump bump.

Well said. I tire of people who suggest that my refusal to support Myth means I am somehow supporting Baraq. No. I’m voting for conservatism.

I really hate brussels sprouts.

Would you eat them on a boat?
Would you eat them with a goat?

Would you eat them from a dish?
Would you eat them with a fish?

I don’t agree, then, much as I love xzins (haven’t read his comment).

Now, you have to understand, “better than Obama” is to me a VERY relative statement. It’s like saying “Well, liver is better than squash,” when to me almost any food is better than squash.

I don’t want Romney to be the nominee. I really REALLY don’t want Romney to be the nominee.

But I think that anyone who says that, at the very worst possible interpretation, Romney wouldn’t do SOME degree of SOME percentage of what we want, while Obama does ZERO degree of ANYTHING we want, just isn’t being honest or isn’t paying attention.

Conservatives need to learn that “better” is better, even if it’s .001 degree better.

HSAT, I pray God that this whole discussion ends up being academic.

Dammit. You figured us out. How did you do it? What did we do that exposed us?

Carp. Now we'll have to come up with a new strategy to get Homey The President re-elected.

I know, I grew up in California and lived there until a few years ago, I remember the stupid open primary. Hubby and I were very involved in YAF, YR, CR, CRA, etc for many many years and frankly, it was not worth working that hard to have the liberal judges overturn everything we helped to pass, twart every conservative we tried to elect, and find ballots floating in the ocean every election while our polling place didn’t even have ballots in English and the illegals were lined up around the block to vote.

Californian is lost, it will never go R again, to many illegals voting and too many libs. It holds way too much sway and after spending all that money to move the primary up, (and constitutional amendment IIRC) they move it back because of the new RNC rules about winner take all. They enjoy their power over the election and the libs and RINOs control it. California is rigged.

Then you don’t vote POTUS (but vote the rest) or write it in anyway (I would have). This isn’t just about not voting for Romney, this is telling the GOP that they left us when the shoved Romney down our throats and WE ARE NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!

Fight back people!

Just checked out your claim, the open primary in CA ONLY APPLIES TO CERTAIN OFFICES...

congressional, state legislative and statewide offices,

IT DOES NOT AFFECT POTUS and therefore NOT ROMNEY. So you can go 3rd party.

Thanks for checking on that for me. That’s good news.

Cain in the primary, and third party in the general if Romney is the nominee.

All set!

Just-winism has no place in conservatism. If you’re willing to pull the lever for Romney to attempt to defeat Obama, you don’t belong in the conservative movement.

I’m with you 100%, Jim. I will not vote for this Antichrist, not in the primary, not in the election. I have been accused in past years by so-called conservatives of “wasting” my vote. A wasted vote is one that goes to a RINO, not one that goes to someone you agree with. Even if I’m stuck writing in a candidate, I will not vote for Mitt Romney. Ever.

Memorable. :-D

"Would you eat them on a boat?

I would feed them to the fishes.

Would you eat them with a goat?

Death to the goat is what I wishes.

Would you eat them from a dish?

That would make me really sick.

Would you eat them with a fish?

The fish say sprouts are kinda ick."

There's one thing I never understoood. Why does The Mom have so much hostility towards the goat?
